Today, the Clerics Regular Minor (Adorno Fathers) throughout the world celebrates one of the important feast days in the life of the Order, the second Sunday after Easter called Dominica in Albis. It was on this day that two of the founders, St Francis Caracciolo and Augustine Adorno, made their religious Profession of vows and assumed the motto Ad Maiorem Resurgentis Gloriam (For the Greater Glory of the Resin Christ) for their life and for the life of the Order. This event is considered the birth and the foundation of the Clerics Regular Minor.
Here in our community in Ramsey, together with our brother priests from Lodi, we celebrated the feast together with a dinner prepared by Fr. Nick. During the dinner, Fr. Americo recounted what took place at the time of our founders the second Sunday after Easter. He helped us refresh our memory about the significance of this event and also the importance of keeping this tradition in the life of every cleric in the Order.
