Today, June 4, 2007, is the Feast Day of St. Francis Caracciolo, one of the three Founders of our Order. This morning, our Community here in Ramsey offered Mass in his honor and for the repose of the souls of our deceased confreres. In his sermon, Fr. Nicholas, our rector, explained the three elements St. Francis was known to love and which are depicted in the statue pictured above: The Holy Eucharist, Humility, and the Order. At the conclusion of the Mass, the hymn to St. Francis Caracciolo, which was composed by our own Bro. Melvin (who is to be professed later this evening of June 4), was sung by our priests and seminarians. (This can be seen and heard below, just turn your computer on its side!) We wish all our confreres, family, friends and benefactors a most happy and holy feast day of St. Francis.
