One of the best moments of religious life is reunion. Whenever we have important events in the life of our order: it could be annual renewal of vows, feast of our founder, or religious profession of vows.
This week, Br. John Bert Lolo makes his solemn profession of vows in the life of our order. He makes the vows of chastity, poverty, obedience and humility. This occasion calls for reunion of religious who could attend Br. Lolo’s important milestone.
Fr. Jason Caganap meets his four former novices, Fr. Ryan, who is assigned in Spartanburg, the newly ordained deacons Rev. Rufino and Rev. Kevin and the newly solemn professed brother Lolo.
When asked how he feels meeting his former novices, Fr. Jason says, “it’s nice to see the fruits of being a novice master. The last novice is making his solemn profession and it was such a blessing to be part of their formation.”
He adds, “My message to the newly professed is to continue his desire to be a holy and humble Adorno. To pattern his life according to our Constitution and example of our founders, most of all, to be Christlike for others.”
