On December 29, 1991, Francesco Iannamico was born in Villa Santa Maria (CH). This is the same place where our own Saint Francis Caracciolo was born. Upon completion of his High School studies, Francesco entered the Order of the Clerics Regular Minor in Rome and there completed his philosophical studies while residing at our house of Sant’Angelo in Pescheria.
Afterwards, in 2013, he began his canonical year of Novitiate in Roccamontepiano and after professing his vows on June 21, 2014, studied theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. During this time, Francesco also had the opportunity to do volunteer work with the organization founded by Enesto Olivero in 1964, the “Servizio Missionario Giovani” and he also spent some time at the Adorno Fathers Mission in Nyamilima, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
He professed his solemn vows on April 17, 2018 at our parish of SS. Angeli Custodi in Rome in the hands of our Superior General, Raffaele Mandolesi, CRM and in the presence of many confreres and friends. He was then ordained in the same church to the diaconate this past May 1 at 11 AM by Cardinal Edoardo Menichelli. To Brother Francesco, we offer our prayers and best wishes for a fruitful mission AMRG!
