In February 2024, the mission in Strasbourg, France, began through collaboration between the General Consulta and the Archdiocese of Strasbourg. This initiative stemmed from an invitation extended by Bishop Gilles Reithinger, the former Superior General of the MEP (Société des Missions Etrangères de Paris).

Fr. Frank Guichard, the episcopal vicar of the Archdiocese of Strasbourg, welcomed three CRM missionaries: Fr. Seraphin Safari Mbunge, CRM from the Democratic Republic of Congo; Fr. Tony Kochumalayil, CRM from Kerala, India; and Fr. Michael George Mercado, CRM from the Philippines. These missionaries are beginning to integrate into the local culture and language, with two of them enrolled in a French language school to facilitate effective communication with the community.

This mission holds unique significance in the history of the Order, focusing on sharing the gift of faith and igniting spiritual fervor among the French faithful. Despite challenges, the missionaries remain steadfast in their commitment to serving the Lord and His people in the Archdiocese of Strasbourg.
